Punjab recently held its third Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) on October 22, 2024, in a significant effort to involve parents in the educational process. The initiative covered approximately 20,000 government primary and upper primary schools across the state, attracting participation from over 2 million parents. The PTM aimed to foster communication between parents, teachers, and the community to discuss students’ academic performance and overall development, as well as to evaluate the facilities and resources available in schools.
During the event, teachers shared the results of September examinations and provided individual feedback to parents. The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to improving the quality of education through active engagement with families and local communities.
